In less than a week, I’m moving from Boston, Massachusetts to Fort Collins, Colorado! I’ve been mentally preparing to move for over a year now, but it took me until a few months ago to find a city where I could see myself building the next phase of my music career. I want to thank everyone who supported me in the Boston area over these past, impossible, fourteen months. Special shout out to anyone I’ve skated with, anyone who taught me a new trick or a mantra that helped give me something to work for and look forward to when I couldn’t even look at a guitar. These have been the hardest months of my life but I’m glad I got to meet all of you and share some wild experiences with you!
There’s a part of me that always longed to live in the mountains, in a college town, in a place I could see myself potentially staying. Cardiff was my truest home so far, but I always knew someday I’d have to leave. I’m hoping—but trying not to jinx it—that Fort Collins will be my long-term home.
Anyway, all this is to say: Boston, I’m glad I got to know you and I’m glad I get to leave you!
Watch this space for announcements and developments in the near future. I have so many ideas and plans for 2022, including a new single, which should be out in the first half of the year.
Until then, get vaxxed and wear a mask! See you on the other side.
